Nine skids of inventory just arrived this week from Exo Terra. I also have several other orders on their way.
Now where do I put it all?
We also picked up a bunch of store fixtures from the Linens N Things stores that were closing in Grand Rapids. We got some really cool wire gondolas, and some smaller slatwall gondolas with casters on the bottom.
By the end of next week, we should have stuff situated well enough to open, but it will still be a work in progress. If you are in the area, please stop by: 6248 28th St. SE, in Grand Rapids. It’s about a mile east of the I-96/28th St. interchange.

O.K., so it’s not much yet, but it is 1,600 square feet of POSSIBILITIES!
(Every once in a while the pessimist in me points out one of those possibilities is bankruptcy and personal financial ruin, but for now, let’s look at the bright side)
We are renovating the space now, and should be moving inventory into the store at the beginning of August.
We plan to open the doors to the public September 1, but if you are driving by during August, stop to see if we are working. It’s located at 6248 28th St. SE in Grand Rapids, Michigan (well, actually Cascade Township) about a mile east of the I-96/28th St. interchange.
